B.O.R.E.D. - The Drugs

I want to be B.O.R.E.D

You've got a Nintendo you've got a Play Station
and a place to place Play Station 2 when you get one.
With the optional controls with more than enough for
idle hands to press on.

So stimulated, yet so uninspired.
The graphics are fantastic but they're no substitute
for a life.
Now the email unites the members of The New Benign.

There's so much to do. We're so occupied.
Have we forgotten what it's like outside?

When Pop was Bored they were formative times.
We'd rebel resist and kick against the pricks we
would not tow the line.
Now we've become The National Front of The New
Benign.

When Lydon was Bored, they were turbulent times.
We were less inclined to bend over and take it.
More required to break it up and make it something we
could call our own, and stand behind.

It's pixels and pie charts, its cellular phones.
Computer transactions ,"Press hash after the tone".
It's so much more convenient, we're so entertained.
Now I'm ready to be bored again.

I want to be B.O.R.E.D
