When God Was a Wicked Kid Songtext - Odawas

When God Was a Wicked Kid - Odawas

The loose stones tumbled and fell down the walls we crossed
When night or heat became us we often called it off
To find some ledge to nervously sit at
Then their eyes turned to me in search of the problems I'd foreseen

We'd set fire to a bush, sit and jaw about the cause
It's nice to know we could have money and still pull this thing off
Our lives were bridged amongst those of us who hid
Then their eyes returned to me in disbelief of what they could never be
What they never would be

And a line would form right behind me
And I'll judge each of us individually
For I am the one with the lecherous heart
I am the one with the lecherous heart
I am the one with the lecherous heart
I am the one with the lecherous heart
