Good Times and Dead Brain Cells

[Verse 1]
Someone told me life is what you make it
So i'm not gonna settle for surviving on the basics
Trials and tribulations of everyday life
Bad memories about the wrongs i never made right
Grew up seeing things that I knew nothing about
The loss of family members, violence and drugs in the house
Weren't much money around had to get it own my own
3 kids raised by a single parent on the dole
Nothings changed much, still living in the same town
I been around the block and got to know my way round
I got nothing to prove and nobody to make proud
I'm a problem child and the world is my play ground
It's like my best is never enough
Never been a quiter no im anything but
I just know i gotta look out for me
Nobody else cares bout were i end up if
Im gonna mess up
Then i wanna know that its all my mistake
And If there's nobody else fucking up around me there's nobody i can blame
I don't need fame
I'm not greedy i'm cool aslong as im eatin'
These dudes are dumb we're not doing a song
Just move along your flows weak and
I don't find all them bars about your jewellery appealing
I'm off the chain im not dependent on these weak links
They say better the devil you know
And you should keep your friends close and your enemies closer
I tell 'em when im old i'll end up livin' alone
Cause i'm selfish and cold like pregnant women that smoke
I'm my own worst enemy i've lost if i beat me
Angry at the world i don't know how to stop
I'm just being a product of my enviroment you could probably see
But most of my problems are a product of me
I don't need no more friends i only roll with a select few
Heads who have got my back and i got them too
Otherwise empty promises start to turn to excuses
And a new relationship can turn into your next feud
Trying to endure the monotony till it's payday
If i want something better i gotta be on my A game
Many have failed i'd of probably gone the same way
But pride made me do this shit properly just to save face
